Are your feet happy in them?

Yes, my feet are very happy in them. The rest of me will hopefully become less self conscious as time goes on. Maybe I'll be brave and wear them tomorrow to work.

Go for it!

Thanks *smile* I'll trick myself by laying them out with my outfit for tomorrow and no socks.

How's stuff for you these days?

Life is transitional for me right now. I'm on my second of five nights covering the 12 hour overnight shift. When I finish this on Thursday morning I'll be done with the task I've been on for the last couple of years, and fully on the NPP mission that I started working on back about a month ago.

While I'm thinking of NPP, I may actually get out to your neck of the woods sometime soon. I'll be travelling out to Aurora (exact times are TBD) a few times throughout the next year. Maybe I can catch up with you and buy you a cup of your favorite beverage?

NPP mission?

Sharing a beverage and a chat would be lovely. Please do let me know when you are going to be in the land where the air is thin.

NPP: http://jointmission.gsfc.nasa.gov/

I'll let you know when I'm headed that way!

Very cool. Back in my undergrad days I had a fun internship with NOAA for a year or so working on LIDAR data.

Since your project is in conjuntion with NOAA, I think you should have them 'need' you in Boulder - the scenery is *much* nicer than Aurora. Not to mention the company... *smile*

I'd certainly rather have them send me to Boulder, but the Raytheon building is in Aurora, for convenient access to the airport. Fortunately I do know how to find Highway 36.

Hiya,

I found your journal through the random feature. Usually don't leave a comment, but you have an interesting journal and I found one of your posts below especially so (I replied to it, I just wanted let you know who I am).
