Damn I'm good
I just finished a second skein of this wonderful beaded yarn a week after the first - 100% merino, binder, many beads (pain in the ass when dropped on the cream carpet), 15 wpi. First skein 182 yds / 87 g, second skein 180 yds / 88 g. That's 1.1% difference / 98.9 % accuracy! I am *right* on with my spinning.

Go me!

Damn, you're good.

I can just envision those beads in the carpet though =:-O

*nod* It gets ugly. The metallic silver ones are relatively easy to find, but the frosted clear beads blend right into the carpet.

Damn, you're good.

I'm very pleased with my accuracy *smile* I weigh my fiber out, but not the beads or the binder thread - I just string all the beads on and ply them up. I figure I came within 5 or 6 beads of the same number, out of ~430 - 440 beads total on each skein.

It makes the geeky, scientist part of my heart go pitter-pat ;)

The first two skeins are for competitions this year. Now I just have to get the other 4 skeins spun up and find a crazy person to buy them...
