Friday Five
A bit late, but still...

1. Where are you right now?

Work – trying to avoid having to eat any more sardine or snot flavoured jelly beans.

2. What time is it?

9:50 am

3. What are you wearing?

Brown Doc Marten's, light tan socks (to match my shirt), too big jeans, bra, light tan t-shirt, the usual emerald jewelry, my glasses.

4. Any people or animals around you? Describe them.

Not at the moment. Tho I do have the little stuffed lion from a Happy Meal sitting on my monitor.

5. What are your plans for the weekend?

No real plans. Will try to get some sleep. Have to get the emissions tested on my car. Prolly start looking at storage lockers. Maybe I'll call Rusty or Louie and see if they want to catch a movie. Or I could watch some of my new DVDs. Should do some research on my A&S entries for October, perhaps. Free weekend cell minutes – I should call my baby brother.

One of my favorites is

"Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity isn't a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity." - Lazarus Long

Another reference to your end quote. My favorite part of that book was the sections that listed nothing but his quotes. Sometimes when rereading that book, I'll read those sections first, then the book. It gives a slightly different feel.

So what does the "usual emerald jewelry" consist of?

The earrings that I bought myself as a birthday pressie last summer, pendant on a plain gold chain, and the small emeralds my mum had set with Grandmama's diamond in the only ring I wear.
