Surprise, surprise, surprise  
Well *that* was interesting. Startling.

I believe the term is 'busted'.

Someone was startling perceptive in one of the poly community environments. Extremely perceptive. Which would have been surprising enough on it's own, but far beyond what is normally found there.

What this person on the other side of the planet saw was something that we ourselves has not… seen? understood? examined? until quite recently. They saw potential where only a fledgling exists.


It's amazing how others may see what we do not. Just as the blind spots we have about ourselves can be extraordinary. But is it really always blindness, or is it also protection? I think the later is an influential factor in the equation.

I have been informed by a number of people that my eyes change color. A lot. And yet I am the person least likely to know what color my eyes are.
Too many things others can see that you can't see without a mirror. Or a telescope.
