Quite a day
It was quite a day, unfortunately not in the good sense.

Stayed up until ~2am handholding and then had nightmares when I did sleep.

As a consequence I slept through my alarm and woke up at 7:25. I had a 7:30 meeting this morning. I immediately phoned my boss, who was annoyed, and managed to get a shower, get dressed, and make it to work by 7:49, including the 15 minute drive.

Walked in only to discover that J****, the European tech director, was running late as well and had not called in yet. We managed to have a productive meeting at least.

Found out that a friend had a bad experience today and is understandably shaken up by it. I wish I could do more to help than just talk. *frown*

Boss was annoyed all day and had to mention several times that I was late *sigh* Is it too much to ask to get over the little things and let people do their jobs? Or at least to notice that over the past 3.5 weeks I've taken a lunch exactly twice and rarely leave at my normal time? Of course, this *is* the person who told me 'You and **** don't work as hard as M**** & T***' the day I went into work with a fever and no voice because there were things that needed to be done for the end of the quarter. *sigh* Yes, of course, that $9 million this fiscal year just appeared by magic...

Hopefully the soak in the extremely hot tub has helped. I'd give a lot for a back rub at the moment.

It seems that all I ever get these days in my email is spam :/

Ifn I were nearby I would help with the backrub. There's not much I can do about pointy-haired bosses though.
