The perfect vacation
From a random conversation over the holidays. How did we get on this topic anyway, V**?

My perfect vacations:

A week or so at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. The glass sculptures are wonderful, the shopping is scary, and the beaches are perfect. Maybe a few spa treatments, wandering through the aquarium, going down the water slide. Hours of lying on the warm beach with a good book, playing in the water, and cute boys bringing me girly drinks with paper umbrellas in them. Maybe an afternoon of deep sea fishing (requires friends to go with). Parasailing is fun. Can’t forget the most important thing – swimming with the dolphins.

A couple of days being a Monet fangirl at the Louvre. This also includes fresh, warm croissants for breakfast every morning.

A summer riding tour of Yellowstone with a really good camera and big lenses.

A week of 6 hours a day in the saddle with some of the best riders/instructors in the world. This would probably involve going to Europe. Even better if it was a buying trip too *grin*

I'm sure there are others, buut these come to mind now.

I was told that I should involve other people (and 'lots of sex') in my perfect vacations, but that doesn't seem very likely. Not that my perfect vacations are very likely either, but at least are within my ability.

What are your perfect vacations?

ANY vacation. i just want/NEED to see someplace else. on a regular basis.

i never get used to sitting here in this one place all the time, no matter how many years i do it. i know, i know, i chose this life. wouldn't change it, but sheesh. i wish we could take more trips.
