Something to ponder
If you could erase ONE event from the past history of the United States, what would it be and why? What do you think the ramifications would be?

What about world history?

Not an easy question...

His philosophy was a mixture of three famous schools -- the Cynics, the Stoics and the Epicureans -- and summed up all three of them in his famous phrase, "You can't trust any bugger further than you can throw him, and there's nothing you can do about it, so let's have a drink."

That is a difficult question, and one I will ponder for awhile. Possibly going back to the election of John Adams (a notes person against the original Constitution), Lincoln being killed, FDR being elected, hell Hoover being elected. The ending of the great society with Kennedy, LBJ, and Vietnam...

There are a number of nexus points in our history. However they did make us who we are. The challenge is to take what we have learned, and go from there.
