This is some angora I've done up. I did some chestnut French angora to enter in the county fair this weekend (I'll get pictures of all of the fair stuff after the weekend, tho I am entering a skein of the black & gold beaded stuff you've already seen), but thought that this white angora would look good with beads, since I've been on a beading kick lately. It's very nift, but I'm now reminded of just how much I don't like to work with straight angora - it's tres sli[ppery and there's angora *everywhere* now. Y'all can feel free to remind me of this anytime I seem to be leaning in that direction.
This is a fun batt I got which really does seem to have a little bit of everything in it so I call it 'Kitchen Sink'- wool base with silk, silk noil, tencel, and nylon it in. Fun stuff.
These are the final yarn from the kool-aid dyeing experiment of a few weeks ago. I'm still surprised with how nice all of that stuff ended up.
So, spinning fun stuff proceeds apace and the eBay thing seems to work. I'm still a newb at that, so any suggestions are deeply appreciated *smile*
The county fair is this weekend, so I have to take my 3 or 4 skeins over to be entered. I'm still of two minds about entering skins, but I'm sure it's good for me... or something...
