I probably wont get to *go* to Taos (it would involve plane tickets and rental cars and hotel rooms), but I'm definitely going to send down a bunch (hopefully like a dozen, which means I have to get cracking) of skeins for the handspun competition. If I win the lotto I'll send you a plane ticket ;)

I'm also thinking of sending some skeins back east for the BigE fair too. Easy enough (tho a bit time consuming) to spin up 2 skeins of each thing instead of only 1 *smile* Unfortunately both evens are during the same time period, but having 2 sets of competition skeins wouldn't be the end of the world.

I'm glad Storm lie the scarf *smile* BTW - did you ever test out those other fibers I sent you for itchiness?

i tested them, yes, and didn't notice anything but a very occasional prickly feeling. i hope that means that they won't bug me. hopehopehope.

Good! The bra test is the most accurate one because that's pretty much as sensitive of skin as you can find on polite portions of one's anatomy *smile*

Just for the record the blue tuft is superfine merino and the brown tuft is alpaca. Usually people's sensitivity has to o with the fineness of the fiber - http://www.alpacas.com/AlpacaLibrary/AlpacaFiberTextile.aspx

So, since I'm taking a 2 day dyeing workshop this weekend you'll now have to tell me what your favorite colors are :)
