Seems now the new homeowners 'might' want me to stay, but won't know for another 3 weeks or so and may raise the rent. That's too much uncertainty for me. And moving in November, when there is likely to be white stuff on the ground, would be unpleasant. My own two feet is the reality, but that doesn't mean I have to make myself stand in the snow.
Of course, the place that's nice and has a washer & dryer is too expensive. It's the only place with a garage too. That would have been really nice, as the winter is likely to be as wet as this summer, which means I will be shoveling *a lot*. What I need is a sugar daddy who will pay my rent. Or even half my rent.
Dr. says not to lift anything over 10 lbs - trés amusing.
