Rehab experiences
Went to my first rehab appointment today - it was great! We started with an anatomy lesson and reviewing my PT reports. The gal I was referred to is marvelous, and very knowledgeable.

Of of the interesting things about the beginning of the appointment was that based on my movement and muscling, she thought I was left handed. Once I explained that I'm pretty ambidextrous for many things and had spent years riding, it seemed to make more sense. So I guess I'm not as unbalanced as I thought. Maybe it has something to do with only hearing with the left ear as well.

The other thing that struck me is that many of the things she talked to me about and had me do *directly* translate to things I used to do with horses. Working on the small muscles, the strong/weak/strong side exercises, even the chewing jaw relaxing. Funny that I know how to do all of that stuff with horses, but need someone to tell me to do it for my own body.

Hopefully the rehab plan we have will be approved.
