One of my eye plugs came out yesterday, and now that eye feels a little funny and doesn't see quite as well (yes, I notice *very* small differences - comes from being trained as a scientist). Going back today so they can give me a new plug, pat me on the head, and tell me I'm being too much of a perfectionista.

Also have a sort of job interview today, along with a regular DR apt. and a dentist apt.

so much for it being a day off. At least I was smart enough to get my oil changed yesterday.

In order to keep the eyes moist in this very dry climate they put *tiny* collagen plugs into your draining tear ducts. Not even noticable once they are in, and putting them in takes about 15 seconds.

ewwWWWwwwwwwwww in a kinda neat way.

reminds me of a simpsons episode now that i think of it.

how's your night vision? that's "my thing" about eye-mods...
i HAVE to keep my lovely super sensitive night vision intact
or many things (like astronomy) would be ... well ... not so fun.

What is an eye plug?

And yes, they gave me a new plug, patted me on the head, and told me that I was being a perfectionista. Eyes look great, and there will be some fluctiation in vision for a coupla three weeks.
