AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!! *headkerplooey!*
My boss is so bloody... *growl*

So there I am in her office talking about a customer and what I was going to do with them. One of the regional admins comes in and starts speaking over me *WHILE I'M STILL SPEAKING* to my manager, who then turns to speak with her - like I'm not fucking there or something. I try to speak a bit more, but the admin and my boss just go right along ignoring me or the fact that I was speaking. *click* I bolt from my boss' office and slam the door on my way out (which was not an appropriate thing to do).

So them I send the admin an email:

From: C
Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 4:36 PM
To: T
Cc: Boss
Subject: Interrupting

I do not appreciate you interrupting me in mid-sentence that way when
I was speaking with my manager, and find it very unprofessional.
Please have the courtesy to not do so in the future.

In the meantime boss comes out, *throws* some papers at me, and says 'If you hadn't left in such a hurry you would have seen that T wanted to give these papers to you'. Funny, T never even mentioned my name, just started talking over me. Not to mention that the paperwork didn't have anything to do with me, wasn't in my territory, and there's not bloody much I could have done about the fucking 2 page email that late in the day anyway.

This is the response *my boss* then sends to both of us:

From: Boss
Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 4:39 PM
To: C; T
Subject: RE: Interrupting

I motioned T to come in so if you want to be upset at someone it
should be.....

THEN boss sends me another email:

From: Boss
Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 4:41 PM
To: C
Subject: RE: Interrupting

Furthermore, all of my department, you included, interrupt my train
of thought and stop me on a seconds notice that it would be nice if
you could show a little more patience

Slamming my door was very unprofessional!

I've gone to rehab, driven home at 80 mph, gone out in the cold for a stomp, and I'm still so angry that I'm shaking.

I'm going to make cookies for dinner, before I compose several replies, one of which might be professional enough to send.

Biiiiiiiiig mistake to not remember the red hair doesn't come out of a bottle. I put up with a lot of crap there and suck it up all the time. Not too much to ask for a little fucking respect or courtesy or even back up from one's manager, hmmm?

That just stinks. I'd like to suggest keeping e-mail out of it in future, unless you're TRYING to create an audit trail. What started as an inter-personal beef (that needed addressing, absolutely) now has an e-mail trail that could--for example--come back to bite you come review time, or when someone (T or Boss, for example) ends up with a reason to knife you.

About the only thing I might have done is kept repeating "Excuse me; I was speaking; pardon me; just a moment please," etc. in such a way as to make their continuing the interruption to your conversation impossible [and giving them a taste of their own medicine, as it were].
