Just because you *can* do something
...doesn't mean you *should* do something. One should always remember to warm up and stretch properly too *nodsnodsnods*

So, I'll not be demonstrating flexibility by putting my knee caps on the floor next to my ears to show off again any time soon. Nor will I give into the mass hysteria of 'hey, let's all try this!' while unsupervised - obviously we all need our trainers around to discipline us when we are being crazy. But I will point out that the only other gal who could do it was one of the instructors...

Showing off can be entertaining, but you always pay in the end.

Were you demonstrating the classical Viennise Oyster position?

That certainly wasn't the intent in the Pilates studio, nor was it a side effect anyone considered at the time. We had more of a Cirque du Soliel attitude going. See, it all started with one of the gals showing off by putting her palms flat on the floor while standing...

*nod* I see. You'll forgive me if the combination of your post yesterday about your black skirt and green blouse, combined with this one, inspired a few salacious thoughts. I do appreciate that pulled thigh muscles can hurt like hell.

oh, not thigh muscles - I tweaked one of my shoulders, probably by wiggling around whilst showing off. So it was a bit of a day for me as I use said shoulder constantly. It's also the shoulder I sleep on *sigh*

But the good news is I do have oblique lines now *grin*
