Emissions testing
This is one of those boring days to get all sorts of things done. First thing on the list was emissions testing for the little white Subie. As a car gets older one does tend to be concerned that it will pass.

So I trotted off to the state emissions testing station here in Boulder, after properly warming up my car. It took a grand total of 9 minutes from the time I drove up 'till I drove away - they sure are nice and efficient there.

The little car passed with levels that approach a brand new car:

HC GPM - 0.0532 (2.00 pass)
CO GPM - 1.85 (20.00 pass)
CO2 GPM - 310.9828 (no standard)
NOx GPM - 0.4183 (6.00 pass)

Not to shabby for an old car with 160k miles on it. Did I mention I love my mechanic?

*pat pat* Good car

I wish that I could have an electric or hybrid car as so many others here in Boulder do (not affordable right now), but am feeling pretty decent about my emissions at this point.
