The mournful bells ring out across the world
and the faithful pause to pay their respects to the Holiest of men. Some pay their respects in silence, others recite the rosary. The Polish flag flies at half mast. The applause sweeps the square, and voices are raised in supplication as the simple wooden casket is brought forth. The words so long unused yet never forgotten fall from my lips.

"Lord, now let your servant go in peace, your word has been fulfilled"

We never forget. I was surprised to have some of the Latin come back to me after so long.

*nod* I did the altar girl gig for a long time. I'm sure mom has pics of me looking too cute for words in the official outfit.
