I looked down a noticed a single fiber on my little skirt.
I had to check it out. Hmmm, one fiber. No big deal, right? Most people would pick it off an put it in the trash or some such.
I, however, am no mere mortal. I am Super Fiber Geek!! So I saw that it was single strand of silk quite easily. That, however, wasn't good enough. After all, I have several kinds of silk at home. Bringing my mightiest powers to bear upon this lone 3" strand of undyed (drats! Couldn't identify it by what I've dyed lately) silk, based on luster, weight, and elasticity (without breaking it) I identified it as Tussah.
This concludes my fiber geek moment for the day.
...who has threatened my companion in crime with the single fiber identification test...
