CSS & Modifying templates
This CSS thing is completely new to me, so I'm just playing around with it to see what does what. I haven't been completely successful, so suggestions are welcome.

The good news is that with the help of browneyedgirl65 I got the images fixed up, so at least the background and header are right.

This is the template I'm trying to modify.

This is as far as I've gotten so far. Still having trouble trying to figure out how to move things over to the right. Since I changed the width of the background image, everything else is now messed up.

I can see where this CSS stuff makes way more sense than hardcoding straight html like I used to do - it's just figuring out what does what.

That looks pretty damn good...what's messed up?
Or have you managed to fix it up since playing with it? Isn't css fun? (I mean that in both senses of the word, haha.)

Well, you can see the differences between the two. On my version (titled Charlie Cummings Clay Studio) you can see that some stuff is still wonky and out of order. I'm still trying to figure out how to get everything aligned correctly like in the template. Then I will move on to changing other things and making more pages which are different.

okay - I seem to have fixed all the weird stuff and removed some functionality that wasn't needed. Now, onto customization.
