Important to think about
...and that is to have more than 'subsistence-level' loving. She wants to get out, do things, have fun with her husband. A relationship is more than nice words, good sex, and someone to keep the bed warm and belly full.

And there wasn't even that with Tim.

Don't feel so bad about that relationship failing - other people's bars are higher.

So, should I set the bar higher, as with the above, or would subsistence-level love be 'enough'? Is a PBJ sufficient for a starving man, or should he hold out for a 3-course meal? Is something that is 'not perfect' better than nothing at all?

Things to ponder with this new life.

for the hungry person, and general daily taste, the pbj is fine
and wonderful. the multi-course meal with its savory richness might cause upset [tummy]. at least at first. then further hungers banked must be fed. so while you eat that pbj, savor it, and learn to cook the multi-course meal, and incorporate it into the menu.

comfort, like food, is sometimes basic basic. i actually *grin*
love my pbj, but i also like the fancy, exotic, dressed-up,
and other things. all in moderation and in its measure. pod thai? :>

for me there is no question of kind (natural (salt please)) but
regular or crunchy? :>
