Geeky moment for the morning.  
I actually said the following out loud in the course of a conversation before 9 am this morning:

"I should be able to drop the BUS & clock speeds on a 486 board by tweaking the BIOS and flicking the jumpers to make it backwards compatible with an antique program written for 386 speeds, right? Provided I can find the board specs, of course. Because this is medical equipment, that’s a much more palatable solution that slapping DosBox or Mo’Slo on the box."

Sometimes I scare myself.

I am not a geek.

At least my foot is turning colors now to keep me amused.

Hey, everyone should know at least one foreign language.

My sister the historian once caused total silence in her living room by mentioning that her TRS-80 came with the new 5 1/2-inch floppies that could hold 125kbytes, so she didn't have to swap out so often. . .
