Thought for the day
To the obese bald guy in the red Porsche-

If I can beat you off the line over a quarter mile in my Subaru Wagon either your equipment or skill are... lacking.

Compensation is a sad thing. We remain unimpressed.

So, they don't seem to think I'm a boring goody two-shoes at work today... *smirk* The power of rumor is great. But two edged, as well. I need to remember that.

Quite sad, however not all Porsches are fastest off the line. Their strength lies in the twists and turns.

Sadly they have become a dick-symbol for a lot of people. Why Porsche lengthened the wheelbase in 68; too many people were being stupid and crashing otherwise fine cars.

there are too many over powered vehicles to choose from to single out fine german engineering :>

certain suburus are race cars in disguise; esp the newer wrx i believe. comparing that to a 15-20 yo classic porsche simply isn't fair. unless the guy was trying to race you. that's a bit different :>

personally, i like the 450 HP AWD audi station wagon currently being offered. it's complete excess with no redeeming value. would never buy one but to know that such engineering is possible, is neat.

i don't think there's a car on the planet that can compare to a fast bike though :> well, in capable hands anyway.

an ode to racing bikes: (take your dramamine):

Yes - he wanted to race. He was trying to fake the size of his dick impress me I think.

It was a late model Boxter (no more than a couple of years old) and I own a Subaru Wagon that hasn't seen 2 years old for awhile - definitely not a race car *smile*

I still whipped his ass. But I was nice and made sure to wave cheerily out the window as I smoked him.

i wonder if they make those in *gasp* automatic?

clearly, he lacked skillz. i'd think a boxter could do 80 mph in 1st
for starters.

i've seen a couple yahoos try off the line racing stunts. i think one
dude dropped his tranny :>

silly people.
